What do you need to run [YACG]?

  • Any linux server
  • Apache with mod_rewrite
  • PHP version 4.2+

Things You Need For The Installation

  • A text editor
  • An FTP Client
  • Your web browser of choice

Things You Need to Do For The Installation

  • Checking to ensure that you and your web host has then minimum requirements to run [YACG]
  • Download the latest release of [YACG]
  • Unzip the downloaded file to a folder on your hard drive

5-Minute Install

  • Download and unzip the [YACG] package, if you haven’t already
  • Rename the config.inc.php.example to config.inc.php
  • Open config.inc.php in your favorite text editor and fill in your configuration details.
  • Open keywords.txt and put in there your keywords.
  • Place the [YACG] files in the desired location on your web server.
  • Change file permissions to 0777 for the following files:
    • /cache/
    • config.inc.php
    • feed.xml
    • sitemap.xml
    • keywords.txt
    • ips.txt
  • That’s it! [YACG] should now be installed :)
